This is clucky she is one of my schools chickens she was leaving her best life until she sadly past away after having problems laying we will always remember you clucky.
Wildlife in Little Shoal Bay
On my way to Kendalls Bay on a overcast day , looking up the texture of trees leading up to the sky.
Silvereye flew through the balcony into the house and stared through the window. At my friends house on Balmain Rd.
We started feeding the local doves and pigeons.
Chelsea Lake – safe have for a myriad of birds, both large and small. Nature next to industry.

I love going down to the Chelsea Sugar carpark and checking on the shags on their nests and then watching them feed and nuture their young.
This was taken at sunset on Hinemoa Street. The Tui had been feeding on the blossums and then taken to the bare trees to serene the sun going down.

Watching these fledgling herons reminded me of my childhood with two older brothers where sibling rivalry was very strong. I washed these young herons at Le Roys bush, for a while observing how they playfully interacted with each other.
On a still day the water is like a mirror.
It’s amazing what you find looking up.
