This photo was taken in Chelsea Easte Heritage Park
When I was photographing birds, a rainbow suddenly appeared in the sky. I quickly changed to a wide-angle lens to capture this moment.
This was inspired by Taylor Swift’s “All too well” that was taken during the fall.
It’s a keruru.

A plump Keruru in a tree.
Captured from the Birkenhead Wharf on a misty winters morning, a lonely yacht bouys amidst low lying fog that hides the Auckland Harbour Bridge and CBD sky-line.
Taken from the water by dinghy, the Chelsea Sugar Refinery is captured basking in the light of summer. Beaming heritage and her pink glory, this iconic landmark is one of Birkenhead’s secret spots.
Captured at the crack of dawn from the waters edge of the Birkenhead Wharf boat ramp, nature becomes a hero with the backdrop Auckland and Little Shoal Bay in the distance.
